Here are the steps to follow if you are planning on joining l'École de neige du Mont Orford as an instructor for the upcomming season.
1- Before October 15th 2012, send an email to ecole@orford.com to inform us of your interest for a job as an instructor. The email should have in attachment a cover letter along with your resume. The cover letter must describe:
- Your personnality
- Your interest for your sport (For how many years? Did you take lessons? Where?).
- Your reasons for wanting to join the team (Monetary? You know any instructors? Who?).
- Any other subject of interest.
2- We will invite everyone that have sent their letter and resume to our off snow selection day.
- Saturday, October 20th 2012, from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm (bring your lunch).
- The meeting point will be in front of the Ski School at Mont Orford.
- Confirm your attendance at ecole@orford.com
3- The selected candidates will be invited to our on snow selection day.
- Saturday, November 17th 2012 from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm (bring your lunch).
- The meeting point will be in front of the Ski School at Mont Orford.
- In case of bad weather, we will carry the activity to November 18th 2012.
4- Fill out the services offer that we will give you during the on snow selection day to complete your hiring.
5- You will have to pass one of the courses held in December*
* In case of failure, you still can be hired as a help-instructor until you pass the course.
* Sign up for courses start in October.
